Pets in Grand Epic Online are all fighting-type including Rabbit, Leech, Devil Rat, Mad Dog, etc. They follow their masters and help fight. Every pet has its own attack skill.
Pets grow with their masters. Players can decide to let pets fight together or just watch fight. If pets take part in the fight, it can help characters to attack enemy and if they just watch, they of course won’t take any action. But no matter fight or not, pets can earn experience after the fight so they can level up like characters.
Pets’ names can be changed. Pets also have attribute points and even five-element attributes like characters. Pets gain 1 or 2 attribute points after level up, which can be distributed to strength(Str), defense(Def), stamina(Stam), intelligence(Int), luck(Luck), Weapon Attack and Armor Defense. The effects of these attribute points for pet are the same way like those for character. So players can decide how they want to build their pets.
There are three ways to get a pet, catching in wild, claiming reward after completing quest and buying pet egg at the mall. Pets gained by the first two ways are common pets while pets hatched from pet egg are mythical beasts with greater power!

Pet strengthen
As pets are an indispensable helper in Grand Epic Online, player can build a super mythical beast through pet strengthening system. The place to strengthen pets is Cloud Cave, Penglai Fairy Island. Click NPC Fight God of Penglai in the cave to easily start strengthening. Attack power, defense power, max HP and max MP of pet will be reinforced greatly after strengthen. And for mythical beasts such as Fire Phoenix, Tyrannosaurus and Fire Kirin, their images will change and can add 10 more aptitudes by using Pet Aptitude Elixir.
Pet Combination
You chase more, and we support you. If pet strengthening system is not enough for your need, we have a brand new pet combination system here for a fierce fighting beast.
Pet combination needs Nine-dragon Stove and Carbon of Nine-dragon Stove. NPC Jinnie at Chingshin Hall, Dragon Palace sells Nine-dragon Stove. And players can buy Carbon of Nine-dragon Stove at the mall.
Players need to have two pets at least for combination. The principal pet should have experienced reincarnation. After all required items are ready, players can access the pet combination interface by using Nine-dragon Stove and choose two pets to combine. All attributes of principal pet will be retained in the new born pet after combination, including HP, MP, Attack, Defense, Aptitude, skills, elixirs used. So don’t worry about property waste!
There are four types of new born pets after combinations which are Three-eye White Tiger, Tyrannosaurus King, Efreet Spirit, and Draphoenix Beast. Combined pet can usually perform 2 skills at the same time.
Tips: The temperature of Nine-dragon Stove will not reset to 0 when player log out game or change line. But if you change Main Pet or Sub Pet, the temperature will reset to 0.
